SUCH A BEAUTIFUL SIGHT

I have my computer sitting on my table that faces the window so that I may watch the birds at the bird feeder. More often than not I see the squirrels hanging from one of the feeders and dumping the seeds all over the ground. There's one of them now...the little seed hound!
Right next to my computer I keep my camera handy so that I can catch my little feathered friends. I have quite a collection of backyard bird photos.
Today I had an unexpected visitor hoovering over the Lime Bush and for me it was such a beautiful sight!
Does anyone know the name of this butterfly?

Don't know the name of your butterfly but it is indeed beautiful! Love your bird pictures as well! And those squirrels...the little scoundrels. When my girls were little they hand made signs for our bird feeders that read "No Squirrels Allowed!" But they have to eat too and are quite comical with their antics!

We love to see all the critters and birds out our window. We have a pair of rabbits that have their dinner in our backyard every evening and the squirrels keep us entertained with their territorial battles. I wish we had the beautiful birds that you show in your great photos...they are magnificent! Thanks for sharing these beauties!

Love all of your photos, but on the squirrels. My husband says they are tree rats. While they can be cute and mine are mighty fat from all the bird seed they eat...I wish they would go live someplace else.

Eastern Tiger Swallowtail , I believe, is the name of the butterfly.

Gee.. I know the names of all the birds without looking them up.

I did look up the butterfly, though.

Do I still win ???? :o)

What beautiful photos, Audrey!! We don't have many gray squirrels. Out here in the sticks the little, furry seed stealers are chipmunks. But I can't get mad at them. They are too darn cute. I just put out extra seed so everyone's happy. :> )

Just stopping by to say, "Hi!"

I saw my first bluebird for the first time in years! He sat right on the wire outside our bedroom. He was so handsome. ♥

Hi Audrey,
How lucky are you to have these wonderful critters just outside your window and surroundings.
We just watched a little bunny, either a cotton tail or small Jack rabbit cause he had BIG ears. Then we have the desert quails ... they are totally amusing. I just love 'Mother Nature' - who needs TV?

Much Peace & Many Blessings,
Barb
