I stained my bed black, to give it a new look, to go with my new fireplace mantle.
Here are pictures of my bedroom as decorated as it's going to get for Christmas.

OK, I've had it with trying to make the old barn door that I was so terribly excited over look presentable, so I had my friend make me a fireplace mantle out of old antique wood for my bedroom.
By the time I had it all painted I realized I hadn't taken before pictures.
Oh well, here it is almost all finished. I want to put a coat of wax all over it and maybe add a little more to the fireboard scene.

It's been a long year for my son-in-law Scott and family but he is finally home from Afghanistan!
Welcome home son, you were missed terribly and we are thankful to have you back home!

I CLEARED OUT MY CLOSET...

AND MADE IT MY LAP TOP STATION.
My tiny little bedroom closet is only 59 inches x 43 inches but, just big enough to fit my slant top desk inside. Now I have a little more space for something else in my bedroom.

Artist Ray Villafane began carving pumpkins on a lark for his art students in a small rural school district in Michigan.
