The Tree

I started painting the trees that you see on my living room wall with intensions of painting several more. Not quite sure if I should or not, so I left it alone. I still think it's missing something...maybe another branch extending on the lower left? I don't know, but any suggestions are welcome.

Hi ! Remember Me?

I know, it's been a long time since I've posted something on my blog. I've been terribly busy working on my little Casita also my daughter and her husband's house. We still have a ways to go but I decided to post a few pictures of what I have done so far to the living room/kitchenette. The bedroom is still a work in progress so I will not be sharing that as of yet. Do you remember that hutch I scored on Craigslist well here is the before picture : Here is the after:Gray is my new favorite color so I am incorporating some of my mustard color items to go with the gray in my kitchenette and living room. I haven't found just the right fabric for curtains or painted the windsors(also found on Craigslist)but I do have a chandelier that hasn't been hung yet and a 24 inch stove that still needs electrical wiring before it can be installed.Here are a few pictures of the living room:THANKS FOR VISTING! Hello Blog Friends!

I am busy helping with the renovations at the new house and in between doing a little shopping for my new space. There's not a lot of time for much else. We've got to get the new house finished or we'll be looking at renting the house we're in now for another month. I don't want to rent this house for another month the homeowners don't take the best care of it. There are lots of things here that need their attention and repair. I'll be happy to say GOOD RIDDANCE to this rental! Here are a few pictures of my latest finds on Craigslist All I had to do to the table was paint the base of it blackThe four Windsors were a steal at $60! The next time you see the chairs a couple of them may be a different color =)I did finish painting the bed that I got on Craigslist a while back but you probably won't see it again until it's actually set up in my new space.Wishing you all a HAPPY SPRING!
