SETTLING IN and SEPTEMBER UPDATES

We are almost unpacked and settled here in Arizona and I wish I could say that Fall is in the air but, we are having nothing but high temps here. The area is beautiful and it's going to take some getting used to. I will post some pics as soon as I get a chance. My son-in-law has finally retired from the Army and he and my daughter have put the house up for sale. Below are pictures of the house ready for purchase...any takers? =) Audrey

SUCH A BEAUTIFUL SIGHT

I have my computer sitting on my table that faces the window so that I may watch the birds at the bird feeder. More often than not I see the squirrels hanging from one of the feeders and dumping the seeds all over the ground.There's one of them now...the little seed hound!

Right next to my computer I keep my camera handy so that I can catch my little feathered friends. I have quite a collection of backyard bird photos.

Today I had an unexpected visitor hoovering over the Lime Bush and for me it was such a beautiful sight!

Does anyone know the name of this butterfly?
